Happy Recap

Well what didn't happen in last night's game? Trach goes yard, Valentin gets thrown out at home trying to stretch a triple into an inside the park job, Milledge has another fine outfield assist, and X sends two out of the park. If I had to ask the Reds a question today, it would be "Besides all that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"

But I am not some sockdologizing old man-trap. Nor is Carlos Delgado, who, with a man on in the bottom of the 1st, took a glimpse into time and read the blimp read "the world is mine," slamming an Elizardo Ramirez offering over the Geico sign in left.

Xavier Nady was hitless since coming back from the DL yesterday, but came back to life by putting the naughty on Cincy pitching late, hitting long balls in the 7th and 8th. And Trach had what people call a "quality start," going six and giving up 2, with Dirty Sanchez coming on in the 7th to minimize the damage during a Cincy rally.

And what can you say about Jose Reyes? He's hit safely in eight straight, and has a .340 OBP on the heels of his run. In a perfect world it'd be higher, but then again, in a perfect world you'd be able to smoke weed on the streets without cops harassin'.
