Happy Recap

Well, winning two out of three to start any series against a division rival is good, but considering we did it using the back end of the rotation and you should be well pleased. You should also be pleased that prior to last night's game, the Metropolitans dealt Jorge Julio to bring El Duque back to New York.

El Duque is no ace; he's 2-4 with an ERA above six in nine starts this year. But he'll pitch better than Jose Lima, and that's all I really care about.

We should call him Alay "Servicable" Soler. Three runs in six is no gem, but only two were earned, and for the Cuban's first start in the show, he did pretty well.

Another Reyes triple! Another Beltran bomb! Another game-winning hit from David Allen Wright. I've said it before, folks. When they're on, they're on.

BBPOTS Player of the Game: David Wright
