Happy Recap
A thousand apologies, Metropolitans fans, for the lack of recent updates. I have been in the process of moving, and so is DocGooden'sCat, so BBPOTS is in a state of flux right now.
But the Mets keep rolling, dusting the Phils yesterday afternoon in the makeup of Sunday's rainout. Maine looked decent, two earned through 6+, and the bullpen held up, not withstanding a moon-shot Ryan Howard hit off Mota.
On the batting side, Jose Reyes slapped his 16th triple of the season, and Carlos "Big Diesel" Delgado had two hits--including a double--and two RBIs. And David Allen Wright showed some very welcome signs of improvement.
BBPOTS Player of the Game: Carlos Delgado
